We have purchased multiple pieces of furniture from Mcleary’s and have always been more than happy with the product and service. We especially appreciate that the items are made in Canada out of solid wood and are of a high quality. The team at Mcleary’s worked to help us find the right pieces for our needs, and in some situations have custom made pieces to our specifications. We have dealt with Cam a number of times, both when he oversaw the delivery of our furniture and then when he was working in the showroom. He has always provided excellent service. We would highly recommend Mcleary’s.

After many frustrating days of not being listened to while shopping at the big box furniture stores, we were beyond delighted at the service we received at Mcleary’s Furniture store. We were greeted by Cam upon entering the store and asked if we needed assistance. After hearing we were interested in looking at mattresses Cam walked us over to the bedding section, gave a brief description of our mattress options and then gave us time alone to check out our preferences. There was no pressure, no sense of being rushed. Periodically Cam checked in with us to answer any questions we had and then continued to give us space to try each mattress. We were so impressed at the quality of service we received, we went on to look at couches, which we needed, but had no intention of purchasing at that time. We visited the store three times before making the decision to purchase a mattress and two couches. Each time we were welcomed back, asked if we needed assistance, answered our questions professionally and patiently and we were left to browse as long as we wanted. When it came time to choose the material for the couches, Cam was very knowledgeable and helpful without being pushy. We left the store feeling we were listened to and will be well looked after should any issues arise. On the day of delivery there was an unexpected delay. Jim, the delivery driver, called us a couple of times to give us updates on the expected time of arrival. Who does that in this day and age? He and his assistant set up the bed, placed the couches where we wanted them and took time the explain the mechanics of each item. Every staff member we encountered in this family run business from start to finish was polite, considerate, professional and gave the impression they genuinely care. We made the move across Country to BC. We were looking for furniture to set up our new living quarters. We bought two mattresses and two frames, and two pillows. We were looked after by Russ. He was very knowledgeable about all items in the store. Russ, and ourselves, were very excited to be buying Canadian Made furniture. We had our beds and mattresses delivered by two gentlemen. They were very caring with the delivery, set up, and clean up of everything.
My husband and I would highly recommend visiting and shopping at their furniture store. Very welcoming and a pleasure to do business with them. Thank you Russ and McCleary Furniture. I’m sure we will be back.

We are very pleased with our purchase! We ordered a loveseat, chair, and ottoman – all virtually because of the pandemic. The entire process was very smooth. Cam was amazing. We are very pleased with the quality of the furniture. We felt that we received very good value for our money. The delivery and set up guys were great. Would definitely order from them again.

Lisa was great. Took my order to exact specifications. My order came in earlier than expected. Rob, the transportation supervisor, arranged everything very well and quickly. All I had to do was choose the day and time range provided once the order came in. Straight to the point. That is business should be. Friendly but no agonizing small talk. Brandon and Daniel were very nice at the delivery. Shoes off at the door, unwrapped, cleaned up and placed the chair. All I had to do was open when they arrived and close the door after they left to enjoy my new chair.

This review is long overdue but it needs to be said that three years ago we had the absolute best experience in purchasing our bedroom suite. We shopped around for months but nothing met our expectations until McCleary’s. Aside from the the fact that our suite is a beautiful handmade-in-BC unit, it arrived on December 24th and was delivered by our salesman because one of the delivery men was unavailable last minute. When we purchased our affordable suite we were assured we would have it by Christmas and they certainly kept their word. We can’t say enough about our great experience. We extend our thanks to the staff for going beyond expectations and wish this family business continued success! Buy local!

My wife and I had a fantastic experience picking out and customizing our new couch. Cam was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. It was evident that the furniture is high quality and will last a long time. This was our first purchase here, but it will not be the last.
